Deflectors is a game where players interact with a digitally projected ball onto a surface with colored pieces of paper. The goal of the game is to deflect the ball from your own playing field and send it to the opponents side. By juggling two balls at the same time each player is trying to trick the other one and make them miss the ball causing the opponents playing field to shrink.

The system uses camera vision to recognize each player based on color of paper the player is holding. Image pixels from the camera are fed into the computer. They are then analyzed by Processing software using the code developed for this game. Once the image is analyzed, game state is affected (ball collision is recognized, players playing field is altered, position of all game pieces is updated, etc.) the updated data is then displayed via a projector back onto the surface.
